The Team AFPPDO represented by CAPT FERDINAND C BUSCATO PN(GSC), Assistant Chief, AFPPDO and Team PNP Peace and Development Office (PNPPPDC) headed by PCOL JOSEPH R ARGUELLES,
Assistant Chief, PNPPPDC held the Pre-Conference Briefing with National Amnesty Commission (NAC) at AFPPDO Conference Room, AFPPDO Building, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on May 30, 2023 to lay down the foundation on how to conduct the amnesty program for our former rebels under Presidential Proclamation Number 1090, 1091 and 1092.
The NAC team headed by Atty Allan Bryan Caser, Legislative and Legal Service, OPAPRU presented a briefer on the said Presidential Proclamation involving amnesty with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF)- PP 1090, Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF)- PP1091and Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawa – Pilipinas/Revolutionary Proletarian Army/Alesx Bongcayao Brigade (RPMP/RPA/ABB)- PP1092.
AFPPDO and PNPPPDC, on the other hand, presented their unit briefings highlighting the AFP’s and PNP’s efforts and initiatives covering the five (5) peace tables including amnesty program of the government.
“In behalf of the AFP, AFPPDO and PNPPPDC will continue to support all the government’s endeavor related to amnesty and its smooth implementation for a better and peaceful transition of former rebels back to mainstream society”, CAPT BUSCATO PN said during his closing remarks.
“Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.”
